Founded in 1962, Xinjiang County Kindergarten is the only provincial model kindergarten in Xinjiang County. Currently, there are 23 classes and 978 children. It has a staff of 92 people, including 31 provincial city-level model teachers, academic leaders and excellent teachers. With its outstanding faculty, the care and education of the kindergarten is of top quality. Under the guidance of Kindergarten Education Guidelines and Guidelines for Learning and Development of Children Aged 3-6, it has striven to realize its educational target of “Health, Happiness and Confidence” by promoting children’s capability of speaking, singing, dancing, drawing, playing, and doing based on one theme per month activities. It has won the titles of “National Woman Civilization Station”, “National Model Unit for Construction of Teachers’ Specialization”, “National Model Unit for Fine Arts Education”, “National Featured Unit for Arts Education “and “Outstanding Kindergarten of Shanxi Province” etc.
