Producing Time: the 13th year of Kaiyuan Period in Tang Dynasty (725 AD)

Description: The iron oxen are now located in Yongji City on both sides of the ancient Yellow River road, which with four statues on each side. In Tang Kaiyuan thirteen years (725 AD), they were casted to stabilize Pujin floating bridge and connect the Shaanxi and Shanxi traffic. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the bridge was destroyed, and the Yellow River changed its channel, the iron oxen were gradually buried by the sand of the River. It was excavated in 1988.
